The Double Wall Stove Pipe Advantage
Although more expensive, Double Wall Stove Pipe:
- is close clearance (6" vs. 18")
- last longer (12-15 years vs. 2-3 years - depending on usage)
- is UL safety listed and Labeled (single wall is not)
- runs cooler on the outside, so it is safer
- maintains higher flue gas temperatures, so it performs better (the Wood Stove will be less likely to "smoke")
